Famous for it’s Red Windmill and infamous for giving birth to the erotic Can Can, which caught the imagination of many a movie maker. Frequented by misfits and Bohemians such as the artist Toulouse Lautrec and the very rich who enjoyed “slumming it” with the very poor. Follow the history of the Moulin Rouge from it’s early days as a Bordello to current day where it has achieved legitimacy as a nightclub hosting international artists like Frank Sinatra and Edith Piaff.

Three sassy singing ‘gals’ have come to Africa from the deep south of America, to explore their ‘roots’. Having achieved notoriety in their home state as a trio of musical mayhem, they are eager to share their talents in a new country.

It is time to shine! Popular pianist Rocco de Villiers pays tribute to the “king of bling”, the most flamboyant entertainer ever: pianist Liberace.

They are two of South Africa’s best-loved entertainers and they’ve joined forces in a hilarious and moving not-to-be-missed journey down musical lane. The inimitable music duo of Ian von Memerty and Rory Rootenberg perform highlights from their favourite musicals. The Best of Ian and Rory runs in December for four nights only in Durban.
