For
those of you who don't know us, the group THE FAMILY PLAYERS are a group of
guys who have been doing comedy Drag Mime shows for fund raising for TAFTA for
some 21 years. We have loads of fun doing it and have a good following (like a
cult following) of people ranging from 18 to 80 who come to see our shows. We
do shows +- 4 times a year and sometimes get other charities involved.
The mad group of us
who do comedy drag cabaret are at it again.
As some of you may know we
have been keen to find a home and finally we have done. We are going in to partnership with the
Rhumbelow Shell hole, Cunningham Rd off Bartle Rd and are going to do our shows
there in future. The hall has a cute
little stage and loads of character.
Obviously the hall and stage and dressing room facilities need some
work, so we are doing our first show as a fund raiser to put in new curtains
and to do alterations to provide suitable change rooms and toilet facilities.
So please support, as what better way then to support a venue then one you help
to create.

The FAMILY PLAYERS new show is called
TIPSY TARTS FOLLIES, (ALL NEW MATERIAL)
The format will be a braai and salads, rolls and potato the meat will be cooked for you, Ice Cream and chocolate sauce. Vegetarians must tell us for
food.
R 50-00 a ticket dinner and show, Tables of 8 people ( R 400-00 per table)
Booking is essential, as again the capacity is limited
in this. Limited secure parking available.
