Rory Rootenberg’s latest offering – “HIGHLIGHTS !!” , described as an “intoxicating and infectious musical mampoer”, is a compilation of the most requested items taken from his various shows during the past few years.

Over 750 performances, 7 Vita awards and 3 CD’s after having introduced the South African public to his excessive and confusing talents, the man with the voice which soars effortlessly over four octaves from deep baritone to high soprano with equal aplomb now bows to his audiences most vocal calls for their favourite songs and sketches to be repeated.

Laughs and gasps abound as Rory takes the audience on a magical musical journey which races from the  romantic to ridiculous, covers a myriad of styles from Afrikaans liedjies to Abba, from La Boheme to Lloyd Webber, from Bizet to Brel, and lots in between that Puccini never dreamed of!

Rory’s most requested show stopper will naturally also be included – Carmen the Opera in TEN MINUTES !
