A few months ago I had an email, which arrived, on my desktop at home and it said

Dear Roland

I have heard about your wonderful little venue, and I would very much like the honour to perform there. You may not know who I am, my name is Peter Maxwell………………….

To Which I replied

Dear Peter

It would be most remise of me not to know whom you are, considering that you have been playing at the Edward Hotel for the last 100 years ……………………   and yes we would be most privileged to have you at the Rhumbelow……….

Since then we have seen Peter Maxwell support many of our shows at the Rhumbelow and how nice to have performers regularly in our audience.

WHO IS PETER MAXWELL?

School Soprano, Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, [ENGLAND]

Security Intelligence Royal Air Force [U.K. & FAR EAST]

And since 1956 WORLD WIDE an International Pianist Entertainer

His career has spanned over 50 years and still the Maxwell magic keeps on coming…. in after-dinner cabaret and theatre shows. This musical collection that will be presented at the Rhumbelow is but a small sample of the vast talent he has in his repertoire. A three-octave voice - a sense of humour and a sparkling technique at the keyboard:

What more do you need for a MAGIC EVEING out at the Rhumbelow?

The show promises to be a musical feast with songs like “Night and Day”, ”I've got you under my skin”, “Dooby Dooby Bye Bye”,”Kliener Kliener Bird”, “Hold it flash bang wallop” from HALF A SIXPENCE. “What a Wonderful World”, “My way”, and many others..
