After a sell out season early in the year Rory Rootenberg returns to Durban .  Star of “The Phantom of the Opera”, Rory offers an unforgettable evening of love and pathos, song and surprise. From incredible Andrew Lloyd Webber to Afrikaans liedjies, from “Man of la Mancha” to man of la madness, this highly talented singer will take you on a musical journey of beauty and warmth.

Rory is remembered by Durban audiences for his highly successful “Cadenza” and “Cadenza X-trav”, which he toured nationally in 1999 and 2000. He returns to Durban with this latest  wonderful, feel good show with music to warm your soul! Accompanied on the piano by his long time Natal pianist Anne Duthie, audiences can expect some beautiful Lloyd Webber  excerpts from Phantom, as well as a bit of the irreverence that audiences have come to associate with Rory!

(A cd of the show will be available at the performances.)
